Using Insert Checkout Form for local checkout
eCart ships with the Insert Checkout Form feature. This feature provides a simple interface for configuring a local checkout form specific to your needs to capture and pass credit card information directly to your merchant gateway to complete a transaction.
This feature works in conjunction with the Local Checkout server behavior, which configures the necessary server-side code on the page to pass the information about your shopping cart, merchant account, and re-direct destination on success and failure to the gateway for processing. The server behavior configuration is launched automatically upon completing the Insert Checkout form wizard with local checkout selected as your form type.
Once you have configured your form, it is inserted into the page, and can then be further customized using Dreamweaver's WYSIWYG design capabilities.
