Form Toolkit

The Inserting Datepicker interface allows you to quickly add a datepicker field to your form. This interface allows you to define the basic settings for your datepicker and choose a design of specify a custom design.

Inserting Datepicker

Place your cursor within your form where you wish to insert the Datepicker text field and launch the interface from one of the following locations.

• WebAssist > Forms > Insert Datepicker.
  
• From the WebAssist category of the Insert toolbar/panel, choose the Insert Datepicker option.

Defining your Datepicker settings

• Name: Enter a name to identify this form element.
• Animation: Choose a desired animation for how the datepicker will appear from the text field.
• Format: Choose the date format that you wish to appear in the text field when a date is selected.
• Theme: Choose the desired theme to use for your datepicker or browse for a custom theme .zip file

  • Note: If you are inserting multiple datepicker instances to the same page, the theme selected for the most recently added datepicker will be applied to all datepickers on the page.

After specifying these details, click OK to insert the datepicker to your page.
