Inserting Content from PowerCMS

This interface allows you to insert content that is currently managed in PowerCMS to your page. This feature is used most commonly when adding shared content areas to various pages.

This can also be used to replace content on your site with a PowerCMS managed content area.

Follow these steps for adding content from PowerCMS to your page

  1. Place your cursor on the page where you wish to insert the content.
    Or, highlight the content you wish to replace.
  2. From the WebAssist menu, choose CMS > Insert Content from PowerCMS.
  3. Select the content area that you wish to use by choosing the Content Location it is stored in.
  4. Selec the the content area from the Content Area field.
  5. Click OK.

The content will have been inserted to your page where your cursor was placed.
