Form Function Settings

CSS Form Builder will automatically add email and file upload functionality to your form whenever specified. The Form Function tab of the Quick Insert interface allows you to configure the settings for that functionality.

Email Settings

If you want the contents that are entered into your form to be submitted in an email, configure the settings found here.

Send the form content in an email: When selected, an email will be sent containing the entered form data when the form is submitted.

From: Allows you to specify who the email will appear from. Choose the lightning bolt icon to specify a dynamic value.

To: Allows you to specify the email address that will receive the email. Choose the lightning bolt icon to specify a dynamic value.

Subject: Allows you to specify a subject for the email that is submitted. Choose the lightning bolt icon to specify a dynamic value.

Template: Allows you to choose a template for the email that is sent. The template will be opened after creating your form to allow you to make further modifications to the email manually.

File Upload Settings

If you have added a File Field to the form you are creating, these settings will become available for you to define where the specified file will be uploaded to.

Note: The Form Upload Settings options will not be available if there is not a file field included on your form.

Additional settings for configuring your file upload behavior can be accessed from the Form Contents interface when selecting the form element and using the Edit option that displays below.

HTML Editor Global Upload Settings

If you form contains an HTML Editor instance for WYSIWYG text editing, the following options are available for configuring how the HTML Editor upload options function.

Click Edit to launch the HTML Editor: Site Settings options

The Settings that display are the same as the settings available from the HTML Editor interface. For more information on defining these settings see the HTML Editor Site Settings help page.

 

Form Function Customizations

Once your form has been created, you can reenter the respective interface to make further modifications.

Updating Email functionality: Open the Dreamweaver Bindings panel from Window > Bindings, and double-click the Universal Email Binding.

Updating HTML Editor functionality: From Dreamweaver's Design View, select the HTML Editor instance. Choose the Edit option from the Properties Inspector to launch the HTML Editor interface.

Updating file upload functionality: Open the Dreamweaver Server Behaviors panel from Window > Server Behaviors, and double-click the File Upload behavior.
