Modifying your design colors

The Manage Colors tab allows you to easily change all the colors defined in your site's design. Within this section of the interface, you can replace a currently used color with a new one which will update all instances of that color throughout your page.

Each color used in your current design is listed here. A menu list beside each color swatch lists all the design elements on the page that use that color. By choosing a different color option for a particular swatch, all elements will be updated to use the new color.

Move Up: Shifts all colors up one, applying them to the design elements listed in the menu list above.

Move Down: Shifts all colors down one, applying them to the design elements listed in the menu list below.

Lock: Locks a particular color swatch from being moved up or down.

Tweak-It: Allows you to automatically update all the colors used in your site based on a number between 1 and 359.

Note: The number entered in the Tweak-It field references a specific number of degrees around the color wheel. Each consecutive click of the Tweak-It button will increment the reference point around the color wheel. Therefore, a specific number will not always reference the same colors.

Color Importer

The Color Importer allows you to import an image or webpage that you wish to sample colors from. For example, you may find that you want to use some of the colors found on a website you just discovered. Simply enter the URL for that webpage in the address field, and then use the color pickers to sample colors from the design to change your design. Select the Preview tab to see your changes.

Color Suggestions

The Color Suggestions are provided to give you helpful ideas on colors you may want to use for your design.
Specify a base color that you want the suggested colors to be generated based on.

The following options are available to give you different types of color suggestions.

• Split Complementary
• Triad
